There are also local tennis courts and horse riding facilities. Within walking distance of the chateau (1.5km) one can find 2 bakeries, a butcher, a supermarket and theres an outdoor market once a week in the village. A new golf course is only 10 minutes by car. Wine tastings can be held at the chateau. There are large supermarkets in St Yrieux. Within 15 minutes there are several excellent restaurants. Bergerac is 128km from the chateau. The closest airports are Limoges (50 minutes), Bergerac (90 minutes) and Bordeaux (2 hours). There are good train connection from Paris to Limoges (3 hours).
