The park is accessible to snorkelers and divers. Also fascinating in the Nutmeg Processing Cooperative on Gouyaves main road. It is so important to Grenadas heritage and is an enormous nutmeg processing station. The tours are very interesting through rows of drying racks which are covered with the fruit of nutmeg trees descended from the first ones planted by the British in 1843. River Antoine Rum Distillery has been producing fiery rum since 1785. Tours cover all aspects of the smoky, pungent production process from the crushing of cane to fermentation and distillation. You can taste and buy the potent rum. The Belmont Estate, similarly educates you on the chocolate process, showing traditional rural life at its best. The Spice Basket is a cultural theatre and tourist centre with a very extensive West Indian Cricket Museum. It is good to explore the lush interior of the island, especially the waterfalls. You can visit Annadale Falls for drive-in access or hike to Concorde or Seven Sisters Waterfalls. You can rent a car or take a private tour driving up the west coast past St Georges and the Kirani James Athletic Stadium. You can visit the factories and distilleries and head towards the little fishing village of Grenville. Then you can head into the Grand Etang National Park to explore the forest and mountains.
