The flora, fauna and dry meadows of Veysonnaz has been well preserved, thanks to conservation efforts. The plucking of Silver Thistle flowers or Gentians is discouraged.Guests can explore the high mountains by taking exotic tours. The 15th century "Bisse de Vex", for example, is a 12 km long irrigation channel and has undergone expensive restoration.
