Stunning apartment located in the Old Town of Villefranche sur Mer, providing unbeatbale views of the bay of Villefranche which is best admired at sunset with a glass of wine. You will see my paintings adorning the walls and some of which are shown in the photos. The Space: The building dates back to the 1600s so an old village which was Italy. Stone walls that keep cool in summer and warm in winter. The glass doors open back so that the whole apartment is an extension of the terrace. The apartment has two large double bedrooms, each equipped with comfortable king size beds, as well as two contemporary bathrooms. The open plan kitchen/living area provides a nice retreat from the afternoon sun whilst still allowing you to admire the bays views. The American-style kitchen comes fully equipped for those who love to cook and the apartment features air conditioning in the living room and fans throughout to keep you comfortable. There is a €250 fee for the housekeeping which is paid in cash to Julie our housekeeper on arrival. Guest Access: The whole apartment is at your disposal apart from a cupboard or two for some of my storage and the housekeeper. Interaction with Guests: Our wonderful housekeeper Julie will meet you at the property, check you in and answer any questions you may have. The Neighborhood: Villefranche is a charming village full of history and breathtaking beauty that dates back in time. The Villefranche bay is the deepest bay in the Mediterranean and there is a lovely beach just a few steps along the promenade. You can be in Nice or Monaco in ten minutes and Italy in forty minutes. There are wonderful walks and the supermarket can deliver to the door. Of course there are lots of local shops to buy great produce and there is an organic market twice a week in the village. Getting Around: In high season it is best to be here without a car as the public transport options are great. However, you can get a permit for approx €15 from the Mairie which gives you free parking. Other Things to Note: Please note that the apartment is in an historical village and ?is on the second floor so there are stairs to climb. House Rules: My apartment is a home so I respect you and leave everything I can think of to make you comfortable. I ask that you respect my space and look after it whilst you are there. Strictly no parties or events!
