The Space: No.1 Dilston Terrace has a stylish living room with grey sofas and a large flat screen TV. A cosy spot to retreat to after a busy day at the beach, this space is ideal for unwinding with your loved ones. Shaker in style, the kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and cookware. The kitchen diner is open plan so you can socialise as you cook and then enjoy meals together. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find the first two bedrooms. With statement blue feature walls, cream wooden furniture and comfy double beds, these spaces are calm and relaxing. On the top floor, you’ll find the master bedroom which features sloped ceilings, skylight windows, a double bed and an ensuite shower room. The family bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower, WC and basin. In the basement, you’ll find a flat screen TV, modern sofas and arcade games making it perfect for children and teenagers. Hop on a boat trip to The Coquet Island, just a mile off the coast, to discover an array of wildlife. There are 35,000 nesting birds in the summer and a colony of over 600 seals! Amble is also home to delicious restaurants and cosy pubs so you can enjoy a truly relaxing break. As Amble is a fishing town, you can expect the best seafood fresh from the coast. If it’s shopping you’re looking for, the town has lots of independent stores. Head to Harbour Village and you’ll find 15 brand new pods selling arts, crafts, food, drink and gifts. Getting Around: Amble is located 15 miles from Morpeth and roughly 9 miles from Alnwick on the coast so it is perfectly situated for exploring Northumberland. There are plenty of great bus routes making it easy to travel around the area. Hop on the X18 which travels from Alnwick through to Newcastle with stops in Craster, Seahouses and Bamburgh. The nearest train station is roughly five miles away in Alnmouth. Located on the main East coast line, express trains stop at Alnmouth train station throughout the day so you can get a direct train to London in just 3 and a half hours. Edinburgh is just one hour away, Berwick upon Tweed and Newcastle just half an hour.
