This modern, well presented apartment, located next to the Yumbo Centre, provides you with all the services that you need to make it a home from home for your holiday in Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria! The apartment has full air conditioning in the lounge and also the bedroom plus a modern remote controlled ceiling fan in the bedroom too. There is high speed fibre optic internet via Wifi in the property. The lounge has a large 4K Samsung flat screen television and offers a very wide selection of British channels including Sky, movies on-demand and series for free. Also, the TV system offers other language broadcasts including Spanish, German, French, Scandinavian, Dutch, and Russian etc. The modern kitchen was renovated in 2018 and has a dishwasher and washing machine. To save you bringing your own, beach towels and a beach throw are provided during your stay. All the bed linen in the apartment is 100% high quality white cotton. A summer-weight duvet is provided as standard with extra blankets and bed throws for the odd cooler night if required. The apartment has bedding changed on a weekly basis (for bookings of 10 nights or more). The apartment is located on the top floor and has uninterrupted views towards the sea. The balcony has a table and four comfortable chairs and is a great place to sit and relax with friends or a good book. The bedroom has two highly comfortable single beds 90x200 cm long which can be joined together with a huge mattress topper and converted into a super king-size bed (you must decide on the configuration when booking otherwise the room will be made up as a super king). The bathroom offers a shower, hand basin and WC. As a bonus, there is a large hot water tank so you wont run out during your shower! The apartment is located in a high standard building with two lifts up to the apartment. In the complex there is a large inviting swimming pool with plenty of sun beds around for use, plus a smaller children’s pool available with showers. Some pretty gardens surround the pool area. Access to the apartment from the street is either via steps or the disabled wheelchair ramp (also useful for wheeling luggage down to the entrance). All in all, a great holiday home. The top-floor apartment is in a great location for those who want to be close to the busy area of Playa del Ingles. It is located next to the Yumbo Centre where you will find many shops, supermarkets, bars/cafés, restaurants etc and plenty of night-life. A car is not required, as everything is in easy walking distance. There is a popular beach about ten minutes walk away where you will find more shops and bars. From here you will find many kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches with sun beds available to hire. Walking south from the apartment you will arrive at the glorious RIU Palace hotel through which you can walk the start of the famous ever-shifting sand dunes of Maspalomas. You can walk to the beach from here in about 30 minutes. Airport transfers/taxis/buses are available from the airport of Las Palmas (IATA code LPA). Next to the Yumbo Centre, 10 mins walk to beach In accordance with Spanish law, we require passport or national ID card for each person in the group of 16 years of age or older. You may not be allowed to check into the property until after the earliest arrival time given and that you must vacate the property by 11am. This is to provide the cleaners time to prepare the property. Normally, however, you are able to drop your bags after 11am when there is a same day change, however, you must accept that the cleaning procedure may not have been completed and you might need to come back later. If the property hasn´t a same day changeover then you can normally arrive after 12 noon. It is important that you click on the link we provide and give us your flight details so that we can do our best to have the property prepared for you. Please don´t send these by email as it is easy for you to enter the details yourself. We hire out many items such as cots, high chairs, extra beds where available. Please request them at the time of booking, if possible. Fireplaces are not allowed to be used in any property due to insurance requirements and obvious risk. Where international television channels or internet service are advertised, we cannot be held responsible for any interruption or suspension of service. Where heated pools are arranged, we aim to raise the temperature to 28 C degrees as a standard temperature; however, we cannot guarantee this temperature due to weather conditions. Higher temperatures may be possible for an additional charge and by arrangement. Extra beds are defined as portable beds or sofas which fold open. We provide sheets and extra towels for the extra people staying, subject to the additional payment.
