If you like to be totally at one with nature, Villa Casaraccio is the oasis of natural beauty and tranquillity that youve always needed. Protruding from a picturesque, top corner of Sardinia, the villa offers a thoroughly luxurious stay among the seagulls, flowers and gentle waves of the Mediterranean coastline! Upon arrival, you will notice there is plenty of parking. There are four parts of the villa connected by covered walkways, which collectively converge towards the incredible inner patio in the centre, protected from the breeze which rolls in from the water. Entering the main house, a spacious living area welcomes you. Originally built in 1960 and tastefully upgraded many times since, the home retains its charm from the era, with many traditional touches evident, complemented by contemporary features from across the world. Fully-equipped kitchen, complete with professional appliances and state-state-of-the art utensils, comes with an experienced chef, taking away those meal preparation chores enabling you to fully exploit that valuable "me-time"! Accommodating up to 14 guests, there are four double bedrooms and a first-floor master suite in the main building, with two more double bedrooms in the annexe, all complete with bright, welcoming decor, private garden access and extremely comfortable beds. Enjoy each one with the sound of the waves lapping around you as you drift to sleep in this beautifully calm oasis. Then awake each morning with the sunrise over the waves in the distance as you sip on fresh coffee by the private pool, before you don your swimsuit and venture into the beautiful sea. Each delightful bedroom has equally lovely en-suite facilities including a spacious shower or bathtub. The annexe is a more modern addition, with huge picture windows in place of the east-facing walls creating a full sense of the isolated location, with the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean seemingly surrounding you. It consists of a spacious kitchen, a bright and soothing living area and two spectacular bedrooms. Integrating with the interiors through airy walkways and houseplants, the Mediterranean garden consists of 6000sqm of sophisticated seating areas, charming patios and secluded reading spots. A large outdoor dining table ensures you can enjoy al fresco meals, be they lunchtime feasts with scintillating views over the bay and towards the Asinara Island National Park, or a romantic candlelit dinner under the stars. Privacy, peace and pleasure are ensured across the breath-taking private land. Also, wellness facilities include a private swimming pool with massaging water jets and a Finnish sauna with panoramic views of the striking natural landscape. But while tranquillity and isolation are guaranteed, youre still just a short walk from the charming town of Stintino, a quaint, traditional fishermans village in the extreme north-west part of Sardinia. There are few tourists in the city, creating a truly authentic Italian experience. Located as close to the water as it gets, youre perfectly set up to explore the rugged coastline of Sardinia and all of the beaches, coves and towering granite cliffs that entails. But if you want to venture a little further afield and see more of the stunning island, we would highly recommend exploring the thousands of historical Nuraghe stone buildings of Barumini, the mysterious Bronze Age stone ruins shaped like beehives. The capital city of Cagliari, at the opposite end of the island, is 4000 years old and has a fantastic array of markets, cafes and restaurants, many offering stunning city and harbour views, as well as an opera house and countless Italian fashion boutiques. With almost 2000km of coastline, Sardinia is a wonderful spot for any beach-lover: surrounded by crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean and all kinds of coves and beaches of white-sand, stretching to the distance! While the breath-taking mountainous interior is ideal for those looking for hiking and cycling opportunities with the same incredible views – perfect for a little exercise and adventure during your time away!
